1.5 Waste means any rubbish, refuse, items, materials, or goods to be removed by the Company as part of the Services, excluding any prohibited or hazardous waste as detailed in these Terms and Conditions.

2. Scope of Services

2.1 The Company provides rubbish removal and waste collection services, including the loading, carrying, and transportation of Waste from the Premises to a suitable disposal or recycling facility.

2.2 The specific scope of the Services, including the type and approximate volume of Waste, any special access requirements, and any additional work requested, will be confirmed during the quotation or booking process.

2.3 The Company reserves the right to refuse to collect certain items, including but not limited to hazardous, toxic, explosive, corrosive, medical, chemical, or liquid waste, or any items that we reasonably believe may present a health and safety risk, breach applicable regulations, or exceed our licensing or insurance limits.

3. Booking Process

3.1 Bookings for Services may be made by telephone, email, online form, or other communication methods accepted by the Company from time to time.

3.2 When making a booking, the Client must provide accurate information, including but not limited to:

a) Name and contact details.

b) Service address and any access restrictions.

c) Description and estimated volume or weight of Waste.

d) Preferred date and time window for the collection.

3.3 Any quotation provided by the Company, whether verbal or written, is based upon the information supplied by the Client at the time of booking. Quotations are estimates only and may be amended on site if the actual Waste, access conditions, or required work differ from the information originally provided.

3.4 Bookings are considered provisional until confirmed by the Company. The Company may confirm bookings by email, text message, or verbal confirmation. The Company reserves the right to refuse any booking at its absolute discretion.

4. Pricing and Quotations

4.1 Our charges are generally based on the volume, type, and weight of Waste to be removed, in addition to labour, loading time, and any applicable disposal or recycling fees.

4.2 Any quotation issued is valid for the period stated on the quotation or, if no period is stated, for 14 days from the date of issue, provided that the information given by the Client remains accurate and unchanged.

4.3 Where additional Waste is presented for collection or conditions at the Premises differ from those described at the time of booking, we may adjust the price accordingly before commencing or continuing with the Services.

4.4 If the Client does not agree to any revised price, the Company is not obliged to proceed with the Services, and a call-out or cancellation fee may be applied in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

5. Payments

5.1 Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due in full on completion of the Services on the same day.

5.2 The Company may accept payment by cash, debit card, credit card, bank transfer, or other payment methods notified to the Client at the time of booking. Some payment methods may need to be arranged in advance.

5.3 For business or account Clients, alternative payment terms may be agreed in writing prior to the commencement of the Services. In such cases, invoices are payable within the period stated on the invoice. Late payment may incur interest and administration charges.

5.4 The Client is responsible for ensuring that sufficient funds are available and that all payment details provided are correct. If a payment is declined, reversed, or is otherwise not received, the Company reserves the right to suspend or cancel any Services and to seek recovery of any resulting costs or losses.

5.5 All charges quoted are exclusive of any applicable taxes, levies, or charges imposed by law, unless expressly stated otherwise.

6. Cancellations and Amendments

6.1 The Client may cancel or amend a booking by contacting the Company within our normal business hours.

6.2 If the Client cancels a booking more than 24 hours before the scheduled arrival time, no cancellation fee will normally be charged unless otherwise stated at the time of booking.

6.3 If the Client cancels a booking less than 24 hours before the scheduled arrival time, or if the Company attends the Premises and is unable to carry out the Services due to circumstances within the Client's control, the Company may charge a cancellation or call-out fee to cover administration, travel, and lost opportunity costs.

6.4 Any request to change the time, date, or nature of the Services is subject to availability and the Company's agreement. Where changes increase the scope or duration of the Services, the Company may adjust the price accordingly.

6.5 The Company reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule a booking at any time, including on the day of the booking, due to reasons such as vehicle breakdown, staff illness, severe weather, safety concerns, or other circumstances beyond its reasonable control. In these cases, the Company will offer an alternative date or a refund of any pre-paid charges, but will not be liable for any consequential loss.

7. Client Responsibilities and Access

7.1 The Client must ensure that the Company has safe, adequate, and timely access to the Premises in order to perform the Services.

The Client shall be responsible for any fines, charges, or liabilities incurred as a result of misdescribed or unlawful Waste.

8.5 The Company may issue a waste transfer note or other documentation where required by law, and the Client must provide any information reasonably requested to complete such documentation.

d) Acts or omissions of third parties not under the Company's direct control.

9.3 The Client must notify the Company in writing of any alleged loss or damage as soon as reasonably possible and, in any event, within 7 days of the completion of the Services. The Company shall be entitled to inspect the alleged damage before any repair or remedial action is undertaken.

9.4 To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company's total aggregate liability to the Client, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise, shall not exceed the total price paid or payable for the specific Services giving rise to the claim.

9.5 The Company shall not be liable for any loss of profits, loss of business, loss of goodwill, or any indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of or in connection with the Services.

9.6 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude or limit the Company's liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability which cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

10. Insurance

10.1 The Company maintains appropriate public liability and, where applicable, employer's liability insurance in connection with the provision of the Services.

10.2 Details of insurance cover can be made available upon reasonable request. It is the Client's responsibility to ensure that any additional insurance required for the Premises or specific items is arranged in advance.

11. Delays and Force Majeure

11.1 The Company will use reasonable endeavours to attend the Premises at the arranged time. However, arrival times are approximate and may be affected by factors such as traffic conditions, weather, operational issues, or emergencies.

11.2 The Company shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations where such delay or failure is due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to adverse weather, road closures, accidents, strikes, civil unrest, acts of government, or interruptions to utilities or transport.

12. Complaints

12.1 If the Client is dissatisfied with any aspect of the Services, the Client should contact the Company as soon as reasonably practicable so that the matter can be investigated and, where possible, resolved.

12.2 The Company may request supporting information, such as photographs or written details, and may arrange an inspection where appropriate.

13.2 Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable UK data protection laws. The Company will take reasonable steps to keep such information secure and to use it only for legitimate business purposes.

13.3 The Client is responsible for ensuring that any personal data provided to the Company is accurate and up to date.

14. Variations to Terms

14.1 The Company reserves the right to amend or update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The latest version will apply to all new bookings made after the date of the change.

14.2 Any variation to these Terms and Conditions requested by the Client shall only be valid if agreed in writing by a duly authorised representative of the Company.
